Project Navigation

2004 - 2005

Reference by project manager of supplier Automotive as of 2004-10-02:
(Translated)
”The performance of the freelancer had been used during the phase of systemintegration in a very demanding development project.  An infotainment system. The system consists of a headunit and several components connected through MOST- and MOST-CAN gateway The consultant was in charge of error analysis and bugfixing of escalated software problems showing up during system integration. He had all the necessary skills in the areas of Vxworks (Tornado, Sniff+), CAN (Canoe), MOST (Optolyzer4MOST) and development environment (Visual C++, clearcase, cgywin). He also has deep insight knowledge of the applications and drivers. His ability to analyse problems in short time led to shortest turnaround times. Beneath debugging and bugfixing he also adapted BSP parameters (VxWorks on SH3) successfully. Beneath his technical knowledge his engagement was enormous.. We thank him for his essential contributions in critical phases of the project. We recommend the consultant for assignment in development projects to come"

Project Infotainment

2003 - 2003

Reference by tecnical project leader of supplier Automotive as of 200307-23:

”The consultant was in charge of the systemintegration of the components "Man-Machine interface", "MediaDiscDriver", "Audio Manager" and "Navigation" on Vxworks". The system based on VxWorks above SH3 microcontroller and ST10 Gateway. The components were connected through CAN-gateway and MOST-bus. The software development tools Visual C++ and MKS were used. CANOe and Optolyzer4MOST were employed as testtools. The consultant also improved the work flow in the software development departmend quite successfully. He for example introduced successfully the software configuration management tool "Perforce" into the organization and deployed it over several locations. His proposals were always accepted at any department. From conceptional planning up to integrationtest he performed any task to our fullest content. Here we thank the consultant for his strong engagement especially during demanding phases of the project. We would order the consultant surely again."
